About the game
Go Shane is an arcade style infinite running game created using Unity 4 over the course of 5 days during the University of Portsmouth Game Jam 2013, with a further few hours put in to optimise the game and add some extra small features (like high scores).
The University of Portsmouth Game Jam is an annual game jam that provides students, staff, alumni and others the chance to come together to create games, and compete to win awards in several categories.
The games are created with themes that centre around any combination of three randomly generated Wikipedia articles. This year, the articles were:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Karakitie_Azigbo
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Beit_ol-Moqadda
